Buildings, Buildings, Buildings

We jumped on our double decker tour bus for our tour of the city. Our first tour was through Midtown and then on to Downtown. We saw Times Square, Empire State Building, Macys, and lots of tall, tall buildings! Our tour guide, Matthew, was awesome. He knew his New York history for sure! If you ever visit NYC, you have to do the tour.
Here is a taste of the buildings we saw from the top of the double decker bus...

Times Square

Empire State Building

This building is called
the Flatiron Building
because of it's unique
design

As we made our way into the
Financial District, we were greeted
by the infamous Bull

Our tour bus pulled over here to
show us this fence filled with ceramic
tiles made by elementary students
to honor those who lost their lives
on 9/11

This church sits in front
of Ground Zero
(more on that later)

After about an hour or so of
touring, we hopped off the bus
at Battery Park. Next stop...Liberty Island

Aw heck, my first comment bit the dust. I'll try to remember...

"I. Am. So. Jealous."

I can't wait to see Ground Zero stuff, 'cept I know it will all make me cry.

Way to go Meagan!! Congratulations girlie!! I've never been in a smelly cab before either. Bet that was nice. ;)
