Ellis Island

Next, we boarded the ferry across to Ellis Island... the first destination of thousands of immigrants seeking freedom in the good ole USA.


This was called the "Registry Room"

of people who came through. You
could only view the page it was open
to.

on board on of the ships.



There were several plaques like these
that had the testimonies of some
of the immigrants throughout the
museum.
