I couldn't think of a better way to share our recent trip to NYC than to start a blog! Thanks to my blogging friends for the inspiration!
On June 24th, Mike and I ventured out with our oldest daughter Meagan and her bestest friend Kimberly to NYC to celebrate Meagan's high school graduation, 18th birthday, and acquiring of her AA degree all rolled into one. What an experience for us all! Meagan was quickly deemed the trip photographer and arriving home with over 1200 photos, I will share some of our highlights here.
Day 1
We left the West Palm airport on Tuesday morning and flew into New Jersey. The frugal blood in me opted for a less expensive hotel and airfare than flying directly into the city. As we exited the airport in New Jersey, we immediately saw a line of Yellow Taxi cabs. We quickly acquired one for our 25 minute ride to the hotel at a whopping $50. This was the girls' first taxi ride ever!
We arrived at our hotel around 4pm.
We quickly unpacked, and headed back out the door for our first taste of the Big City.
more later.....
